Information Paris, June 14th, 2004 Press release Air Liquide Hellas acquires Allertec the Greek leader in homecare
With Allertec Homecare, VitalAire Hellas will count 55 direct associates and 36 sevice points and it will serve more than 8,000 patients at home with oxygen, sleep and ventilation therapy. Additionally, Allertec offers home nutrition therapy services, medical devices and srvices, and home assistance sevices to bedridden patients. The acquisition of 51% of the company has been fully authorized by the Greek Antitrust Committee in Athens, thus creating the most important homecare entity in Greece and the Southern Balkans in terms of size and diversity of service capabilities. Commenting on this acquisition, Jean-Pierre Duprieu, Senior Vice-President and Member of Air Liquide's Executive Committee, stated: "Allertec Homecare's entry into the Air Liquide Group reinforces our healthcare pole in Greece.
